《埤塘》以桃園台地獨有的埤塘文化作為靈感，將「水」視為流動的榮耀載體，透過木材與玻璃的結合，形成如埤塘映照光線般的層次肌理。自然不規則的鏤空造型象徵水的流動與地景的變化，也呼應人與環境間微妙的共生關係。

獎盃以木質為主體，中央包覆透明玻璃，並於其中封存氣泡，透露出水中倒映與埤塘中的時光凝結。材質選用上，木紋溫潤內斂，透明玻璃如水，呈現傳統地景與現代工藝的對話。

每一件獎盃，皆為手工組裝完成，無一相同，象徵每位得獎者在藝術與創作上的獨特性，也期望成為持續推動桃園藝術文化的榮耀見證。此設計不僅是獎座，更是一座縮影地景，一道被保存的埤塘光線，映照著文化深處的榮光與溫度。

Inspired by the unique pond culture of the Taoyuan Plateau, this trophy design sees “water” as a vessel of flowing honor. By combining wood and glass, it creates layered textures reminiscent of the shimmering reflections seen on the surface of traditional irrigation ponds. The organically shaped cutouts symbolize the movement of water and shifting landscapes, echoing the subtle symbiosis between people and their environment.

The trophy features a wooden body with a central core of transparent glass, encapsulating delicate air bubbles that capture the stillness of time reflected in water. The materials were carefully chosen: the warmth and calm of wood grains contrast with the clarity of glass, representing a dialogue between traditional landscapes and contemporary craftsmanship.

Each trophy is handcrafted and unique, symbolizing the individuality of every award recipient in their artistic journey. It stands as a lasting tribute to those who continue to shape and promote the cultural spirit of Taoyuan. More than just a trophy, it is a miniature landscape—an illuminated pond preserved in form, reflecting the brilliance and warmth of cultural memory.
